    Thank you for the reply! I hope this is what you mean, if not let me know what you need :) For reference, the left and right button presses is to go left and right in the image-based menu for other options. The relevant bit is the button ok part :kaoswt:

I still have no idea how to do it, and also based on the behaviour of how it stopped looping when I am in the menu but still can't actually select things from the menu I don't think its actually running the commands again when the menu is open.. Holy crap, it's cold. Our heat went out this morning and the repair guy won't get the part needed to fix it at least until tomorrow. Had to be now of all times, when we have stuff to do all week and it's the coldest night of November so far.
