werzaque is correct. Your condition currently is checking for the *presence* of an "isActor" function on the target, and enemies have that function too otherwise they'd have no way of knowing whether they're actors or not. So it always returns true. You need the brackets to actually call the...- Trihan

RMMV Popup Numbers when using gainHp/etc
You could set the hpDamage property of the battler's result and do another startDamagePopup() call to "simulate" it without actually dealing damage, but that would potentially mess with anything that was using that value to track cumulative damage totals and things like that.- Trihan

Update: Coworker sabotaged the truck's mirrors by applying a threadlocking compound to the bolts used to adjust the mirrors. Now NO ONE can adjust them. So I filed a legit report of sabotage of equipment to leadership and declared that I cannot safely operate the vehicle if I can't see what needs to be seen. So the truck has to go to the shop for repair, and we need a substitute vehicle. Nice work, dude
