    Movement Direction Lock

This plugin allows you to restrict player movement temporarily using events. By default, they can move in all four, or eight, directions. By using certain plugin commands, you can "lock" certain directions if you didn't want to allow them to move in those directions.   More information and...

    Save Title

By default, when you save a game, the title that is used is the title of the game. However, this isn't very useful. It would be better to show something more relevant to the actual save file, such as a map location, or the current chapter, or anything else. With this plugin, you can use events...

    Sync Save Data

In RPG Maker, all of the game data is isolated within each save file. This means that you can turn on a switch in one game, save the game, then load up another game, and see that the switch is still off. However, there may be times when you want to turn on a switch in one game and have it turn...

    Exp Tables

RPG Maker allows your actors to level up by reaching the amount of experience points required. The amount of exp required is determined by the actor's level for their current class, and the class' exp curve. Exp curves are generated using a pre-determined formula, and you only have the ability...

    Message Pause Cursor

By default, when a message has finished displaying all of the words and is waiting for player input, a little animated cursor is shown to indicate that the player should press the confirm button to proceed. However, this cursor is stored inside the windowskin, which gives you enough freedom to...

    Self Variables

This plugin introduces the concept of "Self Variables" for your events. Similar to Self Switches, each event can hold its own set of self-variables, which you can use to keep track of things like how many times you've interacted with the event, or the last position of the player that this event...

    Battle Command: Use Skill

This plugin allows you to add commands that allow your actors to use skills directly without accessing the skill menu. All of the skill use properties are the same: your actor must be able to use the skill, have enough MP/TP/other requirements, and so on. If enemy or actor selection is...

    Actor Battle Commands

This plugin provides advanced battle command manage functionality that allows you to manage each and every one of your actors' battle commands. You can choose what commands an actor will be able to use. You can enable or disable commands. This allows you to forcefully disable commands when...

    Elemental Negation

Element rates determine the multiplier effect on skill or item damage. For example, if you have 200% element rate towards fire, any fire damage inflicted against you will be 200% effective, or double the damage. Similarly, if you have 0% element rate towards fire, any fire damage inflifcted to...

    Equip Slots Cannot Be Empty

No video :( By default, players can change equips all they want unless the slot is sealed or fixed. However, what if you want to allow players to change equips all they want, but they can't remove their equip? This plugin allows you to designate certain slots that cannot be empty. That is...

    Counter After Hit

By default, when a target successfully counterattacks, they would automatically evade the attacker's action, and then respond with a normal attack. This plugin changes it so that the target does not evade automatically, and will perform the counter attack afterwards.   More information and...

    Gameover Events

Ever had a random encounter, but wanted to make it so that if the party loses, instead of simply going to the game over scene, you could play some custom events? Or maybe you have a number of evented battles, but if the player loses, the game over processing should all be handled the same way...

    State Damage Modifiers

In RPG Maker MV, damage calculations are performed when one battler uses an action on another battler (including themselves). So for example, let's say your actor attacked an enemy using skill #3. The game would look at skill #3's damage formula and use that to determine the base damage...

    Custom Party Leader

In RPG Maker, you have something called "actors" which are the characters that the player controls. All actors are grouped into a "unit" called a "party". Actors can be added or removed from parties at anytime during the game. You can potentially have multiple parties in your game, depending on...

    Enemy Levels

Do you want your enemies to have levels like actors? You could use levels as a way to determine their difficulty level compared to the actor's current level. For example, if your actor is currently level 10 and the enemy is level 20, you might use a red font to draw the enemy's name to indicate...

    State Change Animations

Would you like to provide some visual indication that a state has been added or removed? By default, when a state is added, there isn't really any visual indication beyond a little icon in your party menu, or a little icon over the enemy's head. If you're using the side-view battle system, you...

    Enemy Classes

Would you like a better way to manage your enemies' parameters and skills? For example, if you have a plugin that gives you enemy levels, you could take advantage of using classes to determine what the enemy's parameters will be. This plugin allows you to assign classes to enemies. When an...

    Change Battleback

Battle backgrounds can be used to provide some sense of atmosphere. For example, if you're walking through a forest and you encounter an enemy, seeing some cute bunnies and trees in the background makes it feel like a forest. However, if you see dead bunnies and dying trees in the background...

    Side-view Actor Enemies 1.2

Do you want to use side-view actors as enemies? For example, maybe one of your actors decides to join the enemies, but you still want them to appear the same as they did when they were in your party! With this plugin, you can easily set up enemies to use side-view actor sprites. Enemies will...

    State Countdown Popup

Do you want to visually display the number of turns that a state has before it expires? For example, perhaps you have a state that will automatically kill you after 5 turns have passed, and you would like the player to see the number as a visual indicator. This plugin allows you to display a...

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
