I was thinking of making something fun for Christmas so I thought to myself: "who is the most beloved Christmas figure of all time?" -- The answer was simple. Krampus, of course!
And then I asked myself: "what's better than Krampus?" The answer came quickly. Two Krampi!
Of course, that begs...

This whole 3/4 perspective is tripping me up. Does anyone know of any good resources for referencing 3/4 view animals? Something like Sim Park, but not isometric. I keep drawing frontal view sprites, and I know they're not going to mesh well with 3/4 view plants and buildings.

(I guess this is less a request and more of a "is this possible"? but if it's possible I'd like to request it~)
The title makes this sound kinda weird and I guess it is.... but uh here goes.
Right now pressing two arrow keys to make the player move diagonally makes the player move at a 45°...
I am building an isometric RPG game. The maps or floors or rooms look much like Diablo I and Diablo II. I have tall thin walls that span several grid blocks,, floors and objects that lie on the floors. My maps are currently in two forms as PSD comprised of hundreds of layers and as Tiled maps...

For the last couple of months I've been working on a prototype for an isometric rpg built in RPGMV. To clarify, it's not a tactics style one (like FF Tactics Advance), it's more like a Megaman Battle Network thing (simpler). I've been to hell and back working on this, and I thought it would be a...
Hi guys! First of all, if this is in the wrong place, I apologize. I posted without thinking about where it belongs >.<
I have been looking to create a game inspired by a series of comics I once made for an MMO I used to play. As a result, I decided to make a game based on the story for the...
Actually i got really inspired by Dark Souls Board Game kickstarter demo. I'm probably just porting what i've seen there, but i need to write about it somewhere and i really wanna see it in a digital game, this is too good to be alone in a fricking board (no offense, but this **** is a mine of...
What do you think of this project.
I developed the idea of an isometric game, turn per turn.
The player has dice to move on an isometric map.
These the turn per turn, but the idea is to allow the player to think about the dice used and resources to advance in the game.
A few questions:
I'd like to build a 2d Isometric type RPG: which builder would be best for this?
IG Maker vs VX... these 2 products are at about the same price tier - but what really differentiates the two?
Resolutions: Are products like XP restricted to lower...
This game (working title 'Project Sara' - actual title not decided yet) is based on the story 'A little princess' and inspired by "Little Princess Sara".
"Little princess Sara" was an animated series based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's novel, "A Little Princess" (written in...
I was wondering if there are any resources out there, such as doors or boxes, that would better fit a map made with an isometric engine like the one in the picture below.
I would be very interested in looking at any tiles that might be of relevance.
I am adamant about not having missable quests, which means having to write entirely new scenes at each plot progression that takes into account that time and events have passed since the quest could first be accepted while still having there be a quest to solve in the first place. It's worth every second.
