Now, I may be doing it wrong, but Ruby has at_exit, which lets you run something when the program closes. Does RM, specifically Ace, support this? I tried testing it with
at_exit { puts "Closing!"; sleep(3) }but it didn't work. I'm wondering if I somehow managed to get something so simple...

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
