Hello and welcome to the ◄Journey Battle System►, which is also known as the 'Enu Tankentai Battle system', which had
quite the fame when it was massively used in RPG maker VX. I myself quite enjoy the system, especially because of all the new
features that she has implemented into the ACE version of Tankentai. It is however the case that the ACE version of tankentai
never got translated... Until today!

I know people could possibly like to have this ACE version of the battle-system in English, so I thought: "Why not help them?".
It would be a nice way to give something back to the community and practice my English language skills at the same time!
Heads up! The Tankentai/Journey battle-system is currently at 90% of the translation, which means that it should be fully
usable. Every important comment and ALL action keys + action sequences have been translated YAY^w^!!

It is recommended to start a project from the demo itself. You can however, copy and post all the 3 parts
in the same order in your project. Please make sure to import all the required graphics from the Journey
demo, into your project. NOTE: Tankentai requires at least the 'VXACE_SP1' servicepack to be installed above
any of the Journey scripts! This script is included in the demo :3


1. Credit must be given to Enu for creating the script, and me(Lady-Elise) for the translation.
2. You may not claim this battle system as your own and distribute it to others. It would be appreciated
if you instead could give them a link to this topic ^w^!

Q: Can you make this script compatible with (insert script here)?
A: No I can absolutely not! I don't say this to be mean but I am not an experienced scripter... This means that
I can't help you with fixing a compatibility error between scripts.

Q: Can I use this system in my commercial project/game?
A: Yes you can! It is actually encouraged to do this (^w~)/

Q: I have (insert problem here) when installing the script!

for more information. Any problems during installation will most likely be on there! The link also provides many tutorials for use within the Journey

I claim here and now I FUlly SUpport tankentai ~

EDIT : Elise-chan you should be carefull with your System folder of your project the system ddl make the game crash with a Corrupt file error)

This seems very interesting. I remember using tankentai battle system in vx and I loved it. Hope you can make this just as awesome or even better :)

 So I downloaded the link and I am getting this error. Not sure if it has to do with the script or my virus system. I tried re-downloading it and it still hasn't allowed me to play it.

Transfert all you file in a new project but not the system file it will work find I will send to akiyama a new version for this demo because is current project bug with our current rmvx ace version

Change the name of your folder into something else. It seems that Elise-chan use some unicode characters in folder name and your Windows doesn't support them.

Thank you guys! I updated the link(special thanks to Nio) with a version
that should hopfully fix this problem ^w~!

Also. because of the many votes for the action keys to be translated, I will

begin work on that!.

Just a little story of me

I wait for the English translated version of Tankentai Ace since Ace has been released.But, I though it's impossible since I didn't get any notices about it. And I don't really like other's battle engine (except Yanfly)

I began to desperate, and forced to learn script in order to make my own battle engine.
You're little bit late, but thanks for sharing :D

I hope it will helps other to make an awesome game.

Since most of my fave game usually made using tankentai battle system

Ah...Tankentai, the most used script in the VX days. I actually don't mind giving this a try again especially when I finally got used to creating skill sets and enemy types back in the glory days like this one: (Note this was one of my earlier projects before switching perma to the Symphony VX version)

Yeah that was mine a long while back when I was still budding in the RPG Maker World plus my art kinda sucked back then. I was surprised though at how well I adapted to Takentai, but later on I switched to the Yanfly Melody because it was more customizable than Tankentai, in my opinion of course.

I wouldn't mind going back to Takentai, but I wish I could make my own sideview battlers instead of relying on premade ones. The good thing about Tankentai is how well it works with custom sprite sheets as Enu demonstrated before in one of his projects.

Sure is one of Tankentai advantage And when the system will be fully translated I will do a bunch of Special Graphics Spritesheet ~

(melody Scared me when I saw it the first time)

Aww yea. Tankentai VXA!

This is a good news for the one who misses Enu SBS and tends to use it in VXA. As bro TheoAllen said, it's kinda late but better than nothing :guffaw:

Hope I can make my Timed-Hit add-on also can be ported into VXA, too...

be awesome if you could port your script over, specialy if it is compatible with tankentai/journey >:3

Good luck with your project... But remember that Tankentai (Ace) has a lot of bugs that needs to be fixed.

Not sure if it's bugs or compatibility issues. Since I often heard Tankentai Ace is incompatible with xxxx scripts

System has been updated to version 0.03

Changes:

Translation:

All action keys have been translated, meaning that the translation sits around 90%! YAY (^W^)/ along with that,

all Action Sequences have been translated as well, hopefully providing users with better view of what they can use/edit!

Script Changes:

Removed 2 useless lines that were twice in the script and served no purpose.

Edit: It is now possible to chooce wether you want images for HP/MP/TP to pop-up together with
the numbers when damage or healing is done for each stat :3.

Bug-fixes:

Fixed an issue that caused the MP numbers to pop-up twice when using an item

or skills that regenerates/damages HP & MP at the same time. (~special thanks to Yami!)

So I cloned an event in MV today.
