1) Tell us about your most memorable Christmas/winter holiday.

Some years ago when my little boy was big enough to recognize the hole christmasstuff, we went to my parents-in-law on christmasday for dinner. An Uncle of my husband plays the Santa every year for the hole town and he came across our house and when he gives away the presents, my boy startet calling him by his real name. That look on the faces of the other Kids...

2) Write a wish-list of the 3 products you want the most.

The Emporium of Copper and Steel, RMDS+ Expansion: Retro SciFi, Pixel Myth: Germania

3) Give some love to our contributors. They've worked extra hard to make all the shiny goodies.

Thank you all for your time and your work! Inspirational music, great artworks, lovely sprites and so much more. There are so many people behind this, I can't name them all.

And thanks to the hole team behind this site and this events!
A merry christmas everyone.

2) DS+ Retro Sci-fi, Nightmares Music Pack & Sci-Fi Tiles.

3) Big thanks to Sharm, Archeia, Celianna & all the tileset creators. Same goes to all the forum staff, they do a great job. And a special shout out to Ms Littlefish for making me feel really welcome on the forum (her music is awesome too, check it out!)

My most memorable Christmas is when I adopted my first cat.
She was in a cat refuge, waiting for a new master with so many adorable cats that I wanted to bring them all home :)
The employee there, for an unknown reason, opened her cage to make me see this cat in particular. She wasn't stressed and rather curious. She went outside and started to explore her surroundings, then went to me. We immediately fell in love with each other and I took her home with me.

The first night, she was scared in that unknown house and meowed so loudly that she woke me up at 3am. She was in front of the door, looking alternatively at me and the door while meowing. But it was a so heartbreaking meow that you couldn't be mad at her. You could swear she was saying "I want to go home!", meaning her cage back there. I took her in my arms and she started kneading my arm. And then she purred.
Somehow, she understood that she was in her new home and she never asked to "go back home" again.
It's been a love story that lasted all her too short life. I've had other sweet cats since, but I still miss her.
She was my most beautiful Christmas present.

The three most wanted packs that I don't already own?
That's difficult, since I bought a lot of them, but there a still a few on my wish list:
- The Dark Hero Character Pack and
- the Fantasy Hero Character Pack
because I love the drawings ^^
- the Always Sometimes Monsters Environment Pack, because they look good and can be used for creating a wide range of modern games, even some sci-fi (which is not all white walls and neons!).

The community here is one of the best I've found on the internet. Everyone is so kind and helpful that you just can't help feeling good.
And on top of that, the team is also one of the best. Always ready to help, providing their advices, services, resources etc. Their dedication is so high that some bigger companies should take lessons.
Thank you, everyone!

1) Tell us about your most memorable Christmas/winter holiday.

I am diabetic. I have 2 transplants. Kidney and pancreas. on Christmas eve into Christmas morning of 2009, We got a call that I was getting the pancreas. Rush to hospital. Was odd that the nurses that were there to help were all dolled up for parties (Thank you to those ladies.) The transplant worked great for 4 and a half years. then it stoped making insulin. :( But without any doubt that was my most treasured Christmas. And my most loved Christmas gift. And to those that have signed to be an organ donor. THANK YOU!!! The person who gets said organ won't get a chance to thank you. So I am.

2) Write a wish-list of the 3 products you want the most.

My most memorable Christmas was when I was five. The tree was hardly decorated. There were few lights and the minimum amount of decorations, along with only a few amount of presents. But, I didn't care because I was young, I still don't. But then, there was a knock on the door, and it was my dad, dressed up like Santa and carrying a very big bag full of gifts! There were Legos and toys which I still carry around and reminisce with. Best Christmas hands down for me.
I teared up ;_;

1.) My favorite holiday memory though is so vague as of today was just waking up Christmas morning and rushing downstairs, my siblings and I would eat our breakfast as the sound of Christmas music filled the air from the radio. When we finished our breakfast my siblings and I would sit close together and unwrap our gifts as my parents took picture. Back them the belief in Santa was still vivid in my little mind and we would thank Santa for our gifts. Though I can't remember what my siblings did after that, I remember that I started playing with the new train set I got. I loved trains. The train set was Harry Potter themed which made it all the more wonderful haha. I remember that Christmas the most. Because it was the most sweetest and thankful one I ever had and I doubt any other Christmas will ever top it.

2.) The three things I would really like is

Environments Inspired by Always Sometimes Monsters

Pixel Myth Germania

Royal Tiles Resource Pack

3.) If I could I'd sent a thousand messages of love, Luna, Celiania, everything they do and make is just so beautiful and my games certainly wouldn't be the same. I'd like to thank everyone else too for their amazing dedication and hardwork, it means so much that they're willing to give up their time our making our games beyond what we ever thought they could be. :)

1)  My most memorable Christmas was the year after I got out of the military.  We couldn't afford a tree or any gifts.  We were pretty strapped for cash.  Despite that, what made it so memorable was that I found matching mugs for our astrological signs and I presented them and som cocoa so we could have something for the hoilday.  When everything you have is mismatched and hand-me-down furniture, it's amazing how much something so small can mean so much.

2) Three things I'd like the most and why:

Luna Engine: it just looks cool.  It's really well done.

Emporium of Copper and Steel: From what I heard so far, I like it, especially "Metropolis." (It makes me think of the movie.)

Inspirational Vol. 3: Because games can always use more music. :)

And the contributors are awesome for donating their time and energy.  Thank you for all you've done.

1) Tell us about your most memorable Christmas/winter holiday.

My most memorable Christmas was my 8th or maybe 9th one. Not sure of exact year.

I wanted toy tops that I saw in the anime but I didn't believe in Santa and I knew who gives these Christmas presents.

But I really didn't beg my parents for the toy because I wish I wanted look like an adult to others.

To me asking for such thing felt so childish. Then Christmas morning came.

There it was, under the decorated Christmas tree, most wanted toy. I still can remember the joyful emotion I had that morning.

I never told my parents what I wanted so that time I seriously believed in Santa.

2) Write a wish-list of the 3 products you want the most.

fantastic buildings: medival

rpg maker 3 music pack

rpg maker xp remastered ost

I have almost all of the DLC sold at steam :)

I guess these are ones I can't find from them.

3) Give some love to our contributors. They've worked extra hard to make all the shiny goodies.

First, I really want to thank all those fabulous music composers. Your musics are really awesome!

And thanks to those managers, giving love and care to polish RM. GW :)

Wow, love your new avatar, Lunarea! And woohoo, the event is finally HERE.

1) My most memorable Christmas definitely has to be last year's. Not only did I stumble across the Steam sale selling Ace at an amazing price - which changed my life and introduced me to a wonderful community! - it was also on Christmas Day that my sweetheart presented me a box filled with old scarves, surprised me with an engagement ring deep inside, and proposed. I cried, then said yes :)

2) Wishlist - The Always Sometimes Monsters Environment Pack (because I liked that game, and the tiles are awesome!). Inspirational Vol 3, because I love what JDB Artist did with Vol 1 and 2 and can't wait to hear more. And does RPG Maker VX count? I always wanted the VX license and never could afford it yet ;D

3) Wow, where to begin? (Did you mean the contributor so far?) I'll start with Celianna - you made my jaw drop with these gorgeous icons. My favourites have to be that red heart, the fiery dragon, the poisonous green skull, and the purple ghosts! The colouring all remind me of Dragon Age for some reason. Truly a feast for the eyes!

A quick love note for contributors this year :)

I also want to thank you, Celianna, for all the work you're putting into the upcoming Ancient Dungeon tiles and other packs; Sharm for the exciting updates you're doing for Pixel Myth (I'm sure I'm not the only one excited!); Crazy Leen for opening my eyes to the beauty of retro pixels; Pandamaru for bringing joy with your autumn, arabian and carnival tiles, and countless more; Avery, for a certain skeleton mouse, and the awesome donut and jester outfit icons that definitely added class to my first game; Candacis, Caitlin and Ayene for the hours and hours of eye candy when I visit your threads again and again and again ;D

Archeia, Vexed and Caz for the luscious DS goodies that left this awful desire to make a DS game right NOW, on the double. Lunarea for the much-loved Ace-XP blends, and the furniture tiles that make me yearn for more packs in your style, heehee. Thalzon for the mindboggling number of FREE battlers and Michael Rookard for the free battlers and battlebacks. Timmah for the stonking variety of animations that breathe new life to games. Liberty for the loverly windowskins and the ghost sprites which inspired a game.

GrandmaDeb for valiantly trying to organise it all (your Ten Easiest Things You can do with Events tutorial was the easiest introduction to Ace ever). Matseb and Palladinthug, for your animated battlers, sprites and charsets (you both rock :) ).

Scythuz, DesperateMeasurez, Quigon, McTricky, Ms Littlefish and all the other musicians, because artists can paint the picture, but only your music can move mountains, touch hearts, and breathe life into those paintings.

I know I'm probably forgetting some contributors, for which I apologise >_< Once again, THANK YOU for the gifts you gave tirelessly throughout the year :)

Hmmm.... hmmm..... hmmm.....

It might be actually my first post here.... hmm....

So big love to both staff and all people to share with others their materials.

1. Most memorable holiday... Hmm I don't really remember. All my holidays were equally special to me. I will be frank… I don’t really like Christmas time… but I like all that time before it, when you dress a Christmas tree and cook everything for your family. As a man who love to cook it is really important for me! For example I remember that in 2008 I cooked MARVELOUS fillet from salmon with spinach and blue cheese wrapped in puff pastry. At that time I created my own special Christmas mix of spices with… well it is a secret… but the base of it iare dried cloves mashed up in mortar…. DIVINE mix of spices! You would be suprised how cloves fits to fish meat! *droll*

2. Hmmm ....

Luna Engine

DS+ resource pack

Dungeons and Volcanoes Tile Pack

3.Give love? ... but... but... I am too shy... ok my lil' kitties *undress* tonight I won't care about gender, I will give my love equally to all. *throws his clothes around*

And those who are not interested in that sort of "love" I can only say that I am really greatful to you guys for all of your hard work. All the materials you are giving to others just from your kindess... *bows* Thank you very much!

.... now anyone saw my clothes? While undressing I throwed them somewhere here.... *trembling* guys.... who took my clothes... it's really cold.... *trembling*

Instead of being on vacation, or having a smooth weekend, today I am working at these moments people.

In my first post I describe my most memorable Christmas moment.

I just also wanna state, that I will also remember THIS day, when a forum kept me company as I worked,

sharing stories, gifts and resources.

Thank you people.

It is the first time I feel company by a forum (I am not experience with forums, I learned everything here the hard way :p )

I don't have a lot of time since I'm visiting my family, but I just wanted to say that this event is truly great. Thank you, staff!

Also, I looove this banner, so cute.

Here are my quick responses:

1) Christmas is always special for me since it is the one time in the year I can visit my family. We have our little traditions, decorating a little tree with veeery old christmas decorations that have been in our family for generations. We always make the christmas meal together, playing tons of board games after it and it is always a very stressfree, enjoyable time! I love christmas because of that!

2) Since I don't have any of the DS resources packs and I had my eyes on them for a long time, I'm listing those: DS Resource Pack, DS+ and the Sci-Fi DS expansion pack.

3) There are so many to name, but this time I want to thank all the music contributors especially. I have surely over hundred music titles from the ReStaff alone, so much freely offered music resources are amazing and I'm always grateful for that. I think, I have bought more music than graphics packs from the store and when I'm mapping or working on a project, I like to listen to those.

In a country I come from there is this peculiar custom of giving as a christmass present a spanking rod to kids who didn't behave properly.

Ya know it is something with which you scare lil kids "behave, or you will get only rod under X-mass tree"

... why am I saying this...?

Look at Michael's santa battler! In his hand I see fine "rod" with ribbon on it! Now I kinda regret that I was always a nice lil'cute kid who always behaved properly... If I didn't... I'm quite sure that I would receive one day nice axe like this *huh*

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
