I know this question has been asked a million times already, but I haven't found any answers that are very new, or align with exactly what I'm trying to ask so I'm going to ask again;

I just switched from MV to MZ (new to both) because I had understood that MZ provides NATIVE 16/32 tileset support. What is required to get the game to recognize those tilesets? Right now I have broken tile placement from my sprite sheet.

Secondly; does that 16/32 support extend to character sprites?

Here's how to change the tile sizes! As for the character, they were always able to be any size you wanted!

AFAIK, without a plugin, characters can be any size, but will only have one square of detection for collisions, regions, etc.

Okay, I'm definitely seeing that since characters are able to scale, they'll just simply FIT. I noticed in MV that even though that variable-ness was there, the character just was too big or too small.

So I've done this, but my tileset that's in 16/32x32 is outputting really strangely. Almost as if the editor still doesn't know how to handle it.

If you placed your tileset, try to restart the editor.

Ahhh I think I realized my issue. I'm using a 16x16 tileset in 32x32, and the formatting on the tilesheet is too many cells wide.

I'm attempting to use 16x16 tiles. I've set up a file like Outside_A1 for auto tiling. The size is 512x480. However when I select this tileset, the tile representation only shows a quarter of the "pond" and auto tiling is wonky. I've even tried scaling Outside-A1 down to 512x512 or 512x480 and it doesn't work. I could not find any documentation that helps. Anyone get this to work?

@GustoEater , please refrain from necro-posting in a thread. Necro-posting is posting in a thread that has not had posting activity in over 30 days. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

Though, welcome to the forums! I definitely recommend making your own thread as this thread is both over 30 days old and your issue may differ slightly from OPs.

The clothes? They're just a, um, quick edit. :kaoswt:

My One Map Challenge is nearing completion. I am in the multiple run testing phase atm. This is the map. Beware the minotaurs in the maze area. The female ones are more aggressive. Can you prove to the land of Winchell that a dragon and a human can love each other?
