I've actually managed to get the walking speed UP and the "dashing speed" down to a slow crawl because I'm trying to figure out a way to make an enemy "chase" the player if he's not "creeping slowly"... or a guard-like enemy that'll throw the player into a jail should he "get caught" by not 'craaping' (pressing the "dash" button" )

    ... Is this possible?

I haven't tested it, but this might work. Make a parallel process event that constantly checks the condition for (Button Pressed) with the same button you have connected with your 'creep' mode.  If the condition is met, a switch is turned on (let's call the switch 'Player Creeping). If the condition is not met 'Player Creeping' is turned off.

You can have 2 different pages for your enemy events, one that is activated when 'Player Creeping' is on, one when it is off. You could have the enemy's move route changed on the 2 event pages so that he will chase you when 'Player Creeping' is off, but will ignore you when it is on.

I would suggest Yanfly's Event Chase Player script to give more flexibility in how the enemy chases you as well.

Hmmm...now I kinda wanna try this. Cool idea.

If you are going to use parallel process events, make sure you add a Wait for a few frames right at the top.
