We're almost done! YAY. Just some final little additions and we can set our page to public...
Beside that we're looking for someone who'd be willing to do a quick testrun of our game
Just someone who'd be willing to let us know if he's running into issues/bugs.
Feel free to write a pm. Thanks <3
I already saw some amazing looking games that I really wanna test out once we're done with our game! <3
Everyone, it's the last daayyy~ hope you had a great experience, even if you might be tired and stressed right now!
@Paladin-Cleric of Awesome go to the IGMC 2017 Game Jam page and click the pink "Submit your Project" button. (Oh, I see you already have. Well, I'll still leave this here in case anyone else needs to know how.)
Last day...I could stand it no longer...I made a custom title page. I had plenty of time to do that so it seemed silly not to. Also redeployed for PC and Mac under version 1.0...it's officially done! Don't know if I said it before, but I have submitted.
119 entries with 15 hours left! Great job everyone!
I know things can get a little hectic when it gets close to the deadline, so for the few people who still haven't don't give up yet! There's still time left to upload and submit (just try not to wait till right at the deadline)
What did you guys use to package your game up for submission? My game is up and works but saving doesn't work on Windows 10. It just makes the "You can't do that sound". Saving works just fine on Windows 8 so I didn't notice it until just now. If you can offer any help, I'd really appreciate it. Without saves, my game is not going to do well.
@Frogboy you say it works on Win8 but not on Win10? Then I'd say it's because of program writing permissions. Make sure to let the players know they have the "Execute it as administrator" checked in the installation notes. Other than that no idea.
I'm now uploading the (now final pl0x!) build. Did some more balancing. Now the final fight is a real challenge I think >:')
I finally finished and submitted my game!
If you guys want to play a nightmarish game with an interesting story go ahead and give it a try!
It was very fun to participate in this Jam, thank you guys for the feedback on my development, it was a great incentive for me!
Congratulations to everybody for the wonderful games you are all submiting, and good luck!
I noticed random Japanese dialogue in the FF7 remake while playing in English. More than once. Just now I saved a vid where Tifa spoke Japanese after a battle. We all make mistakes lol, this is kinda funny though
I wonder if the new RPG Maker will have a built-in ABS for maps or a light effect system plugin out of the box.
Not having false expectations, but if it has both, then wow. I am gonna party all night. Nah I lie. I will party all night anyway, just searching for a good excuse.
And BAM!, the moment you do understand Python setters by studying JS prototypes. That's called SERENDIPITY, coming with something when you was searching for something else. From "The three Princes of Serendib", a persian novel.
The sinking feeling when you realize your grandmother probably isn't long for this world, and the frustration when you know that this pandemic will take her away...not because she has Covid, but because no doctor is willing to see a patient to even run simple diagnostics anymore if one of her symptoms happens to be a recurring fever, even if her primary care physician gives her the test and it comes back negative.
