it's still not good to come out and openly admit it though, because you're basically saying that piracy is okay if you're broke, and others will then think it's okay as long as they have the intention of buying it when they can afford it.
No, piracy is never correct - in fact one of the most popular ABS scripts used in Ace was written on a pirated engine and the author has been banned (and still is banned, because he never purchased it) on this forum as a result.
And no, I won't either tell which one or which author (the script itself is still used by a lot of people, the author hasn't been heard of in a long time).
anyway, enough on that subject. I was just pointing out that it's not a good practice to openly share that you were using pirated engines, for future posting purposes.
I feel for you! I had a really hard time affording RPGmaker and I've been two years in hiatus because I never felt able to afford MV which was the only platform able to do what I want! I think it's well worth every scent though if you really want to make a game with it, the possibility of your hard work paying off in publication is enough to motivate most people! I hope you have that same motivation now, and I look forward to seeing you around the forums
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
