Hi everyone!

It's been a long time since I last posted about my game on the RM forums, but after seven years of hard work, I'm thrilled to say that 8-Bit Adventures 2 has JUST LAUNCHED for PC on Steam and GOG with a 10% launch discount! There's also a free demo too!

Normally the game costs $19.99 USD, and it was developed using RPG Maker MV. This is version 1.01.

GOG: https://www.gog.com/game/8bit_adventures_2

To get a sense of the game, please check out our Launch Trailer:

8-Bit Adventures 2 features a cast of seven playable characters, with a combat system inspired by Final Fantasy X, Chrono Trigger, and Mother 3. Equip Augments to customize your party, and unleash nearly a hundred unique abilities, including Team Attacks and Omega Burst finishing moves!

Explore an expansive World Map filled with secrets, or tackle character-driven side-quests and challenging Super Boss battles. Experience constant variety – from exploring ancient ruins to solving a robot murder mystery – in a tightly paced story which balances the classic JRPG experience with modern design. Despite its sequel status, anyone can jump into this all-new adventure!

If you love the kind of games that Square and Enix were producing on the NES, SNES, and PS1, you’re the type of player that 8-Bit Adventures 2 was made for!

We've also had a lot of positive reviews and coverage over the last couple of days, including from Noisy Pixel, GameGrin, TechRaptor, Davidvinc, Lords of Gaming, the Indie Informer, Backlog Battle, SilverSeraphym, and more!

Console releases (for Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox) are also coming later this year, thanks to the talented porting company Ratalaika Games.

I owe a lot to helpful folks on this forum - not only in terms of community plugins, but also technical help and support. So thank you all very much! As I'm sure every developer on here knows, every purchase, wishlist, and review helps a lot, so all support is sincerely appreciated =)

Thank you very much for your time!

Tiny setback. Turns out my Title Screen image and one of my primary background & avatar images are AI Generated. Glad I went back and checked all my resource links. So I am in hot pursuit of replacement images. Which is fine since I was still missing some images that I need anyway.
Watching Vibrato Chain Battle System is too awesome! watch I wish had this gfx and animation skill to make such game!
Got drawn back by a notification about QPlugins. For those who want the MZ versions I was using, they're on my Github. https://github.com/ImaginaryVillain/QPlugins I literally don't care what you do with them, have fun! :LZSlol:

Meanwhile.. I'm glorying over these 550 new Victorian house models Epic gave me this month. See next post for examples....
Got my new monitor. Good news is, my display issues with linux are okay now. Bad news is, the readability of letters is a bit worse compared to the previous one.
Also, why the heck did I buy a 21.5" one when it's no longer sufficient for my needs?

It's a Christmas miracle. I finally got a recording to actually capture sound.
