8-bit tilesets/iconsets/charsets?

I was wondering if there are any 8-bit tilesets/iconsets/charsets available somewhere. I've really been searching around the interwebs, but I can't seem to find anything that I like. I just don't seem to fancy the RTP resources. I'm looking for something like Dragon Quest styled resources, but not the exact same ones. Thanks in advance.

Krokon made some out of the RTP for VX, but since it's a VX edit you'd need VX to use these. Outside of that, there's not much you will find unless you make them yourself, or search the store (there is an Old School set, but I've heard it's fairly incomplete and it'll be awhile before anything more is made for it).

A full 8-bit RTP set (complete with icons, character sprites, battlers, etc) would be pretty nifty though.

That would be awesome! Although the tiles and charsets look amazing, it still needs more I haven't got anything in particular that I think should be added.
