A 4-man skill with four skills as criteria of using it?

From this thread rises a new question:

Say...
Actor A uses Skill A

Actor B uses Skill B

Actor C uses Skill C

Actor D uses Skill D

If those requirements are met, instead of firing all four skills, party leader uses Skill E, all the rest does nothing, like it's a 4-man attack with all 4 skills as component. the WHOLE PARTY fires a 4-man skill.
I know it's possible to attain this kind of thing with an RGSS3 script, but what script can do this kind of thing? Does anyone know?

i am sure people have written 'combo' skill scripts that add such features. cant think who it may have been though, sorry.

Perhaps moghunter, tsukihime or victor... perhaps all three... who knows ;)

Vlue made one for sure.

But this system is heavily dependent on the battle system you are using.

If it is the default battle system, Vlue's Basic Combo script could probably work for you.

If it is not, you will need to tell us your battle scripts so that we can lead you to the right scripts.

Just pointing out that commissioning scripts with a real money is an option even if your game is going to be freeware.

Scripts made for public use are generally aimed towards default stuff instead of enhancing others scripts.

Try DoubleX's Unison skill script, not sure if it works for 4 char combo's though

I'd suggest Vlue's Basic Combo Attack instead as it's exactly what the OP wants:

http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/24135-basic-combo-attacks/?hl=%2Bvlue+%2Bbasic+%2Bcombo+%2Battack

Mine is Actor A uses Skill A, and if Skill A involves Actors B, C and D, they'll automatically use Skill A as well, then Skill A will be executed by all the Actors A, B C and D. It's quite different from what the OP wants :)

While Vlue's script seems to do the job, since I am still just starting to learn the whole RGSS3 programming scripting language, I might also take DoubleX's script as alternative (Since I use Yanfly's as default engine on this one, and either way, both gave me the result of firing a 4-man attack.)

Just a quick question though to verify my thoughts, does your script fire Skill A 4 times, or just a single Skill A attack?

EDIT: Tried the script, and it works...with 2 skills only. Now I'm puzzled if this is possible with four different skills. I tried to follow the notetag in 4 skills, and what happens is this.

Actor A -> Skill A (id #3)

Actor B -> Skill B (id #4)

Actor C -> Skill C (id #5)

Actor D -> Skill D (id #6)

Skill E (id #7)

I linked all moves to each other like this:

For Skill ID 3:

<COMBO 4, 7>

<COMBO 5, 7>

<COMBO 6, 7>

For Skill ID 4:

<COMBO 3, 7>

<COMBO 5, 7>

<COMBO 6, 7>

For Skill ID 5:

<COMBO 4, 7>

<COMBO 3, 7>

<COMBO 6, 7>

For Skill ID 6:

<COMBO 4, 7>

<COMBO 5, 7>

<COMBO 3, 7>
Result: ActorActor A fired Skill E (I assume the trigger is the A and C link)

Actor B fired Skill E (this time, it's the B and D link)

Turn End
Looking at the script's manual, I can't see anything that can make a skill linked to as many as I can.

My script just fire skill A once.

Only 1 member will actually input and execute a combo skill, all other members involved in that skill will actually input nothing, they'll just pay the action and skill costs.

If that's the case... I can even use your script as an alternative, then.

BTW, I still can't find a way to turn Vlue's 2-skill link to a 4-skill link. Might use DoubleX's one. Either way, with the right info I need, it's solved.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
