hi i wondering if anyone can help me.

say that i have map A and map B

first, i start and put the player starting position at map A..

and then, i want to view an event happened on the map B...

how can i do this ? the only method i know is to use transfer player, but i dont want my player to be on map B..

i just want to view the event on it.

EDIT :: NVM , just see a change transparency option, i missed it xD

does anybody know how to make "player" collapse ?
I'm in this cutscene where "player" is collapse after getting hit from npc. but things is the "player" just stay "player" and not change to collapse sprite. and still able to wander around.

If you want to block player movement in a cutscene, then don't end the autorun until you're willing to allow the player to move again.


If you have a player down sprite, then you need to either change the actor graphic by event  command (and change it back later) or use the player down sprite on an event whole making the player invisible (event command transparency ON)

You would need to transfer the player to the map and use a different event there to continue the scene.

After I test ran it, I switched some text then after that, the opening cutscene didn't appear anymore. How do I fix this?

@Eugene168 It will probably be best if you create a new topic in Ace Support and include screenshots of your event pages with details of the problem.

i've made the cutscene, i don't know how to make the scene fade from black to the scene once my character has transferred maps...

@eggg54 Second tab of the event command menu use the command "Fadein screen".

Could I suggest you have a look at Andar's compilation of info for new users. Among many helpful things, he links to a playable tutorial on events. Spending a bit of time on this now will give you a good grasp of what you can do, and will save you a lot of time and frustration in the future.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm wondering how to make a cutscene where the player characters are not present. It's not an intro sequence, it's just a cutscene that's supposed to take place elsewhere.
It goes like this: Automatic dialogue that leads to a battle -> More dialogue after battle -> Fade out -> This is where I want the game to fade in to a different location where other characters have more dialogue -> Fade out -> Fade in to another automatic custcene on a different map.

Is it done in a similar way like the intro sequence where the player is invisible?
I would really appreciate help on this.

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out.
Is there no way to delete posts? :D

welp, I literally can't continue working on ALEX now that my MZ trial is up (unless I somehow place in the jam which I don't remotely deserve to for my unfinished crap) so I am back on my bullshit
