Hello. I just newly registered in this site so pardon if my question is a bit silly.

You see every time I open my menu screen to check on items I always see this letter with a number right where the quantity of items should be.

It wasn't that way before, so I guess I accidentally messed with the scripting? Can someone please tell me how to fix this? I attached a picture to get my point across.

Try creating a new project and replacing the old item menu scripts with the new ones.

As JosephSeraph suggested, try creating a new project.

Instead of copying over individual scripts, copy over the entire scripts.rvdata2 file from the data folder of the new project to your current project.

Fair warning : this will overwrite all your custom scripts if you have any.

I don't use scripts, so the actors, events and maps won't disappear right?

It worked! Thank you so much. :D
As an additional info, all the .rvdata are the files associated with database and scripts. So if you ever mess something up and want to substitute for the rtp or a backup copy of your project (say, you erased half your animations and saved) you just replace the respective .rvdata ^-^

(in this case animations.rvdata, I think)

Where did you purchase your engine from, and what language is it in? If you haven't added any scripts, then replacing your scripts file with a new one shouldn't have had any effect.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
