This is an app concept. It gives a challenge or a mission to compose a piece of music with certain attributes. All feedback is welcome! I want to build this little thing further into a real app that is useful to many composers on various levels

Very, very cool idea and execution. Nice! I would probably change the categories a bit though. For example, I would make some modes more heavily weighted than others and although it might seem boring I would just have good old minor and major as the most likely to come up. To me specifying the key, time signature, instrumentation, style ... this would be the interesting stuff to do. But still - very cool and usable. Amazing job coming up with all those options too.

Then again, if this is more for a "challenge" or a "mission" than an out-and-out guide to get you to create *something* rather than nothing, then your categories are great!

The idea was to create something that just drops an "impossible" assignment on you =D I give myself an hour to accomplish it. I think I made a new version of it... Let me upload a new file =)
