I'm making a cutscene that is a flashback for a character at the start of chapter two in my game and I was wondering what the best option was for making a sepia overlay that's kind of like an old film reel playing.

I know it's 'show picture' but how big do I make the picture and where do I set the coordinates to show it in the whole screen?

Also I need better sound effects for earthquakes, thunder/rainstorms and lightning strikes for weather effects. And sound effects for the different bubble icons. I was thinking of using the sound of a crow for the '...' icon but I can't find the sound effect :/ I mean the one that sounds like 'aho' which roughly translates to fool.

You can just use the "Tint Picture" command on page 2 of the event editor. Somewhere in here, there is a thread with recommended settings for different effects, including sepia. I'll try to find it.

Edit: Not Tint Picture, Tint Screen, and there is a Sepia option.

Freesound.org has some good sound effects and loops for stuff like earthquakes.

The Crow SE is named 'Crow'.  Shouldn't be hard to find.  Make sure you're looking under SE and not something else... and if it's not there, try opening a new project and looking there.

You can also use Khas Lighting script for a more vintage look.

That crow sound hurts my ears(and TBH it's pretty bad....) and it doesn't have the comedic effect for the situations that I'll be using it in. If you don't know, I'm talking about the crow sound effect that they usually use in anime for certain things. It's cry sounds like "Ah-ho" which roughly translates to 'fool'. They use it a lot in naruto for certain moments.

I'll look into that!

Ah, I thought you meant you couldn't find the Crow SE within RPG Maker.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
