So, while testing what little I have right now, I found two weird things about counterattacks:
So my questions are the following; 1) Is it possible to keep counterattacks from activating until AFTER multi-hit attacks/skills are finished, 2) Is it possible to change the animations used when counterattacking?
- Counterattacks can trigger in between enemy attacks. That is, if you have an enemy use a skill that hits twice, counterattacks can trigger after the first hit, then the character gets hit by the second hit of the attack.
- I don't know if this is just me, but if a gun-user gets counter attacked, the animation.always defaults to the Normal Shoot Barrage animation (it's worth mentioning that I'm using the WeaponSkill plugin from the pre-order bonus to change my characters basic attacks) instead of the animation for their basic attacks.
