Currently, I use solidfiles as my filehosting site, but some people told me that they got some malwares when download my files. The reason why I use this filehosting site that it's only site that works well and the faster among another file hosting site currently.

My alternative is mediafire, but sometimes my upload could be failed due to unknown reasons.

Dropbox is out of question. I use dropbox as a backup and shared folder with my friends. Not something to share file. Moreover, I almost run out of the quota. And I couldn't pay for extra quota.

So, what is your recommendation for file hosting site which is free from malwares, easy to download, and doesnt have download limit (tusfiles did that badly)

Please note that the 'malware' is not from the file hosting site: it is from Chrome blocking most .exe files. If you get your project in as a .Zip, this should get around it.

Also, tell your downloaders to KEEP the file that Chrome tries to throw away.

"This file is not commonly downloaded and could be dangerous" -> click the arrow next to it, which brings up a dropdown list. Select keep.

If the file is blocked due to being malicious, then go to the downloads of Chrome (within the browser itself), find the blocked file and select 'this file is safe' or any variant of that wording. It will then bring up a popup saying "this file could be dangerous!" and the downloader has to click "hurt me plenty".

It's very counter-intuitive, but the issue started to appear after a certain Chrome update.

Yep, Chrome kinda hates RPG Maker files. :D
So you need to zip them to avoid it. ;)
But I use Google Drive, because it has a lot of space and most have it because of the smartphones. ;) (\s/)

If you're not logged in solidfiles, it offer you two download links.

The one that contains .exe, dunno but it's like their download manager or such (which usually considered as a malware)

The another one is the direct download. Which is somehow 'hidden'

Most of people click the first one.

If you're logged in, you only see a single download link which is the direct download.

Google Drive seems a good choice :)

EDIT:
I'm using Opera, so I dont know anything about Chrome

The most of the downloaders are truely malware. :/

Allways hate, when I need to download them first... (\s/)

Personally I like google drive because it comes with the email and it's easy to manage. Dropbox is alright but it requires you to download their software to use. Really, any site is good as long it doesn't require the person to click more than a single link to get a download.

Not true.
Some file hosting sites use their own crappy downloader which indeed contains hell of a lot malwares and adwares, and can hurt your sanity in the most annoying ways (default search engine changed to some pretty crappy one, random sites opening after window starts up, random sites opening on every new tab made, etc).

But do note:

If you don't open them, they can't run their "bomb".

How to identify which one is a malware and which one isn't? Just look at their size and their icons.

If it is not the regular blue icon how all packed projects look like, and if it is an extremely small file (meaning less than 1 MB - the single dll for the game itself is more than 1 MB) than it is most probably a downloader installation with full of malwares. Delete those files immediately after the download.

Also, if you got a reliable anti-virus software, you won't even be able to open these downloaders, because they will get deleted instantly upon opening them.

And yes, file hosting sites with these downloaders are the worst choice for sharing your resources.

Mediafire is what I use, and that one is one of the most user friendly site for both the downloader and uploader. Although, sometimes my uploads get interrupted there if I try to upload multiple files at once. No issue if I upload them one by one. Downloading anything from mediafire seems stable enough.

Mega is great also, but there is no chance that someone with a very slow connection could ever download anything bigger than 0.5 MB. Tried it, multiple times, my download was always interrupted.

Even with a very good connection, I sometimes get time-out errors there for bigger files.

Never uploaded there anything, so no idea how that works.

Personally I use Mediafire for sending files, dropbox if I want to embed something isn't going on soundcloud for whatever reason.

Considering I will have so many files to upload, github seems not a good choice

I don't understand, make a new repository that is a folder of all your file materials? You should be able to upload in batches :o

GitHub is designed for sharing source code, not binary files (unless you include such files in a Release). Considering this community and the types of files shared through it, I'd be extremely hesitant to use GitHub for, say, sharing your project. I'd use it to store the code which constitutes a project (using something like rvpacker), sure -- but I wouldn't store the raw, Ruby-serialized project data, an encrypted game archive, the game installer, or anything like that.

Thing is, Git tracks changes made to files, and it tends to be less than efficient when dealing with large, binary blobs with regularly changing contents. It works, technically, but it's not ideal -- and no one is going to need to see the diff output of an installer between commits. Storing these kinds of files also leads to some pretty awful download times when cloning repositories, so again, for the sake of using GitHub for what it was designed for (collaborative, social programming), I wouldn't store raw project files in a repository.

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
