So, I am in the process of creating a project where two of the big pieces are Battle Engine Symphony, and Holder-style sprites. I am planning to have multiple transformation states, wherein one actor switches to another, gaining new skills, stat boosts, etc. And while I have the mechanical part of that system sorted out the Graphical is...proving difficult.
What I am trying to achieve is having the actor apply a state, and along with all the new skills, stat boosts, etc (which I have figured out) I am unable to change the characters graphic to reflect the change in form within the battle itself.
I have tried a variety of scripts (Victors State Graphics, Neon Black's Graphic Change, and Tsukihime's effect manager + change graphic effect) but I have been unable to produce the needed results (though that could certainly be through my own failure to understand the script instructions, but I've tried my damnedest) and from what I can discern, there seems to be an issue pertaining to the style of the Holder battlers in conjunction with how BES handles where it takes its battle graphics from. I was hoping someone was either aware of a graphic change script that would function properly with BSE and Holder Sprites, or would be able to create one for me.
