Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I'd like to comment out a slight bug I found. It's not something major, but still.

It has to do with the Music test menu. I had noted this bug, even since I used an unofficial RPG Maker 2003 translation, blaming it on the program being recompiled when translated.

But I just noticed this is present in the official version as well. I am terrible explaining stuff, so I'll try to be as clear as possible.

By pressing a key while selecting any music file in the list, it automatically should highlight the first file that begins with that letter (That is, unless you had a file selected that begins with that letter). For instance, pressing B should highlight Battle 1, but instead it skips the first file and jumps over to Battle 2 instead.

A small workaround I've found is to slightly press the key. Again, while this would not be really a top-priority, it could even be annoying, especially when importing custom music (and sounds as well) files, and trying to highlight them using this method.

The same thing happens when you choose music or sounds in an event. The main problem is, if you only have a single song/sound with for example starting letter "Q", it will give you an error sound as if you wouldn't have something with starting letter "Q", even though it's there.

Thanks for the find!

Will be fixed in v1.11.

I now changed it as follows:

* Pressing one or more letters triggers incremental search, e.g. it's possible to press 2-0-0-3-T-E to select "2003Tension" in the list. Backspace can be used as well, e.g. 2-9-Backspace-0-0-3-T-E.

* After a short time, this cache is cleared and any new letter triggers a new search.

* A new search always searches starting with the next item after the selected one, but any consecutive letter stays on the current item as long as it matches. E.g. if you are currently on 2003SnowTown, a press on 2 will jump to 2003Sorrow, then 0-0-3 will stay on 2003Sorrow, then T will jump to 2003Tavern and E will finally jump to 2003Tension.

* If the search string is not found, the last entered letter is taken and used to find the next item starting with this letter. So, if you press 2-2-2-2-... it will cycle though all the 2003XXX music files because starting with "22", the string is not found, and all consecutive "2" presses will just select the next item in the list which starts with "2". Or, as another example, 2-0-0-3-T-E-N-S-I-O-N-A will at the "A" press jump to "Animal" (however backspace would still work to undo the A press and jump back to 2003Tension because the old search is still cached).

This will also apply to non-resource listboxes, such as condition/attribute lists, monster lists in the "troops" section, etc.

Is it possible to add this same type of search to the database item / skill / enemy / etc menus?

Because right now, it only works with the item numbers... so searching for the Club weapon means you have to type 0-0-1-7 instead of C-L-U-B. Which doesn't seem ideal. Just asking :)

Yeah, I thought about that as well... but it would be more complicated to add, so it's not high priority. The reason is that this feature uses Windows' function for finding a listbox item by a search string, and if I wanted to search for another part of the string, I would have to recreate it, basically.

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
