This contest deadline was July 26th, and originated from /r/RPGMaker.
Oh, hey, you can read what the contest manager said about this game on the thread!
This game was made a few weeks back for the contest in a total of 8 hours spanning 4-5 days, due to the fact that the Golden Age of Game Mak event was running at the same time.

What others have said about this game:
"Yes! I'm dead!... wait, why am I so happy about that?" -Korokonee, 2015 Synopsis:
You play as a rather generic-looking Evil Overlord's son who is awaiting "visitors" to his father's lair. Little do they know, the visitors have long since ranked up, classed up, and levelled up from their original nooby selves. Do you and your father stand a chance...? And what will the visitors do to you if you don't? (Because you probably don't. Stand a chance, I mean.) Features!
- An unconventional hero
- An unconventional, though not completely cliche-free, story
- FOUR endings! Count 'em, there's four. You can get them by:

cheating (or rather, activating a cheat), dying, strategically murdering people, or playing as normal and getting the default (though not "true") ending
If you get all the endings (and save after/load from the opening scene), it should be about half an hour of gameplay. So it's a rather short game.

Hey, Dad, why do you always get the bigger chair?
Ooh, look, you start the game at LV 99!.... Good luck keeping it that way.
A reverse-boss battle, where you're the boss! ...Which means you get the crap beaten out of you.
Ouch, that's gotta hurt.
Hmm... those blue glowing gate things look familiar... now, where did I see them again?
I'm hoping to get a review if you've got the time c: Love it or hate it, 0.5 star or 3 star, I'd just like some feedback on this game xD Haven't got much, so far, on the game page, so I'm posting it here.
Enjoy this bloodless murder sim!
Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
