If the minimum system requirements says 8GB, there's gotta be a big change somewhere within the editor. I'm presuming something with the animation tab/on-map lighting/particle effects and the 8GB requirement is just slight overkill.

Ah, its been confirmed that is going to be Javascript? I assume it would be since I just saw people happy about that change in MV, but asking just in case.

Its just how new version of nwjs looks like nowdays, so new maker use same stuff as MV, just a bit newer

I also would like to know if MZ just keeps JavaScript or switches to another programming language.

I don't think the plugin language has been confirmed yet, but I'd assume that yes, it's an upgraded JS language + PIXI5.

I have dark theme on everything that has it. However, sometimes YouTube randomly switches back to its regular blinding white theme, which is annoying.

I wonder what's in System 2?

Oh, I also hope stats\attributes continue to have no influence in battle unless I actually use them in a skill.

Has the same 4 themes that MV has for visual accessibility, Default (what everyone is used to), Dark, High Contrast White, High Contrast Black. I'm a huge dark fan to be honest. I have light sensitivity in one eye due to a work accident (that also left me 99% blind in that eye, I can't see anything except whether light exists or not in that eye) and dark themes are just much easier on me.

I'd really like more built-in battle types without having to do a lot of programming, like on-map battle or Tactics systems. Also, a release date. Is that being informed next Thursday?

Same. Dark themes are just so much more aesthetically-pleasing, and easy on my eyes lol. Though I understand why it's rarely the default, for people with vision issues.

I'm pretty sure that's why early computers where white text on black screens.. rather than white screens with black text..
It's just always been easier on the eyes.

As someone with vision issues (my affected eye starts watering like crazy after long times of screen time),I love this,

F***, I promised myself not to make overlong intros anymore, but the dialogues are again getting out of hand in a very visual novel kind of way, and there's only two fights against bats in between them...well, at least there's going to be a proper area with fights after this intro sequence. And the intro is a bit more lively with several locations and different scenes.
