RPG Maker Forums

Greetings to all of you. Just a week after spending a little fortune on the software of my dreams, I thought I register here and say hello^^.... which actually is kind of a lie, as I originally registered here, to ask a question in the help and support :p

But why not making myself known in the process. I am a guy, who liked to make his own JRPG in style of Final Fantasy since quite some time. Now, I can unleash my ideas that I have gathered over the years and finally be happy. ^^

It will probably take years to do such a game, but let's say I know what will be in front of me, so this will be no problem.

Expect a lot of questions about any RPGMMV from me (that may be very dumb at times) and maybe some assets in the future, as I like to design pixel graphics too, even though, 32x32 and 48x48 pixels are not quite as simple designed as 16x16 tiles are.

I wish you happy designing and building. :-D

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
