I was thinking about pokemon games made in rpgmaker, and went searching for materials and information. It's... fairly scarce, to my surprise.
Thing is, we all know how nintendo is with fangames, and while I have an idea to make the game safer to actually exist, I still struggle with the things I want to change the most. The battle itself. While there are options available, I'm not sure yet how to implement the party system Pokemon uses in these other battle systems, and neither the capture system.
Thinking about it, there are quite a large number of mechanics to be adapted somehow, like the randomization of stats for each pokemon with iv, ev, nature and all that
What do you guys have pokemon-related to help me think about this? While I have both VXa and MV, I need to focus first on making the whole pokemon system work with a new battle system.
