A question about shadows

Why does this happen with textures in the B and C pages?

Notice how the shadow does not go over the woodpile. Is there a way to fix this?

If they went over wood piles, they would also go over trees. It's been this way, sadly, since auto shadows were introduced.

That's what I was thinking since they are all in the B tab. I like where this is going though. Hopefully someone can put together a plugin that would sort this out. I would love to use a plugin like this.
