A question before doing so

So as of late I have been taking several different Icon Set Sheets and combining them into ONE massive ICON sheet, making sure that the Icon's have similar art styles before putting them on the BIG sheet, I have also recolored a few of them as well. So my question is (all of the ICON Set art is free and allowed to be edited) can I put the big ICON sheet up on the forum in the right thread of course? Or would that be a no no, since the ICON sheet is not technically my artwork but just reorganized with a few edits of my own. Again I just want to clarify that it is okay for me to do this before posting the end results.

I know that a giant icon set I've seen before was looked down upon. Apparently it has icons from other games and stuff. I'd say if it is only your original work they will let you. If it features anything from another game(s) it might not be allowed.

I'm not a Mod, though.

Okay, so in short maybe not the best idea to share it?

Even if those icons were free and allowed edits, doesn't mean that you're allowed to share those edits. So what you need to do is to check every term of every icon and see if it's alright to share. Same with icons you didn't edit; you have to check whether the creator allowes reposts of their work.

If you read the pinned thread in the resource forums, you will see it states that you may only post resources that you have made, or that you have permission to share.

Making resources and rearranging someone else's resources are two completely different things. And unless you have permission from every artist who made the original sheets, to share and modify their resources, you would not be able to.

In the very unlikely chance that you do have permission from every artist, when you share it, you would need to provide credit to every artist, identify which icons belong to which artist, and provide their terms of use, or links to their terms of use (or better, to their original page where you downloaded it).

I see, well I'm glad I checked. Like I said I just wanted to double check before I did anything that would be wrong or stepping on anyones toes.
