What a cool thread! It's really awesome seing all the history behind some of your guys' avatars
Anyway mine's pretty simple she's the main character of a project I'm working on, I made the sprite by editing together a couple of the rtp sprites from MV and I really liked how it ended up looking so I decided to use her as my avatar as a way to try and motivate myself to finish the project, needless to say I haven't yet finished it but I'm hoping to have it finished next year
Alrighty! So before we talk about my Avatar, let me show you my first one.
This is Shina Fire, an OC of mine. this avatar was one of my very first art I did back in 2013 or so, and I was very proud of it ^_^ - it still and is my avatar for my other social media. I remember taking 2 days to finish it.
And now for my current Avatar
Meet Zero Dragonwave, another OC, I change to this one because it has the same feel as the first. yeah... so nothing special really
My profile pic is the artwork from the Magic the Gathering card "Brushwagg". I just love how completely clueless he looks and the art feels nostalgic for me as it was one of the first weird silly cards I discovered back when I was new to the game.
Mine is a cropped drawing from a frame of an opening animated bumper I made for an animation festival back in 2013. The character resembles me, so it seemed like a good option for an avatar.
If you'd like to watch the animated piece, you can check it out here!
I'm really into spooky stuff and Disney, so I just decided, a looooooong time ago to draw Slenderbell (or TinkerMan if you prefer. I do not). It is also a filler for until I get my real one done.
It just seemed to fit my name, and her suit is so dapper.
Having fun in Orlando! We had a lot of fun at the arcade, even though I didn't win any jackpots this time, and then we went to Outback and got a Blooming Onion. Tomorrow we're driving to Fort Myers to see my stepmom.
Now that I have the XP RTP back, I was looking through the files and found Fighter 7, the inspiration for my first sona! She's evolved since then, but it gave me such nostalgia!
Character sprites are difficult to create so I decided to get/buy some. Got the Pixel Champions from Alexdraws. But It had no walking animation :/ But redid the free ones from the Mighty Pack <3 Turned out pretty good imo.
Yesterday I discovered that I can copy/paste multiple commands by holding shift. I tried this when I started developing holding ctrl and when it didn't work I just copied every single command one by one. For two years.
