Hey everyone, how are you doing ?
So i'm working on my senior project and i wanted to create a sudoku puzzle :kaohi: so i did one but without using any code which is by listing the numbers on the floor and when the players click on the zeros (only the zeros) they can change the number. I used set movement then change image to change the number.

The problem is, i want a chest to appear after they finish the puzzle in the right way but i have no idea how to write a code that will check the answers :kaoeh:does anyone have an idea on how to do this ?

Thanks in Advance.

'Tech Support' is for when you cannot get the engine to run. "How do I...?" (implementation) questions belong in the Support forum for the engine you are using. You have not included that in the info under your avatar, but looking at the floor tile you've used, I am assuming it is MV.

[move]RPG Maker MV[/move]
Just a heads up. With RPG Maker, writing code = writing a plugin (or script in older versions). What you are doing here is writing event commands. I'm only mentioning it because using the right term helps avoid confusions.

Increase a variable by one each time a n event whose value is incorrect changes to be correct and decrease it if its value changes from the correct one to an incorrect one. This way you can have your chest event appear once that said variable is equal to 81 (9*9).

Edit: the said variable should be initialized to be equal to the number of known sudoku tiles when the sudoku puzzle starts.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
