I am making a game using SumRndmDde's Map Title screen plugin and I want party members/other important story players to show up after you have met them in-game using something like a "Universal Switch" that works in every save file once it has been turned on. This switch would only affect the title screen and that's all. I know I've seen a plugin like this somewhere but I can't find it again or remember who made it.
Any help would be appreciated!

For some reason this plugin isn't working..
Is there any other plugins that do the same?

The other New Game+ plugins I'm familiar with which do this only do it specifically when loading a save or starting a game. This is the only one I know of that advertises functionality during the title screen.

You might want to share your work in case anyone spots you did something incorrectly, Hime's plugins are pretty spot on.

This is an event where you gain a party member; I used the synchronized switch tags and the save sync data script tag detailed in the website and plugin help.

And after adding the plugin and editing that event, you started a new game to test, correct? Not loading into the area via a save?

After starting a new game and running that event, you save your game, quit back to the menu; if you press F8, go to the Console tab, and enter $gameVariables.value(58) what does it show?

I wanted to link Olvia metaControls as well, but it also save instantly
when the variable or Switch is used (global or local), as I modified
that plugin to only work when the game is actually saved :)

when game is saved, than the Global or local switches are saved as well.
