So I'm wondering- what programs can play music in .ogg format? Windows tells me they're Flash Player files, but I don't know whether my computer even has Flash Player installed... I've been using to site called media.io to convert these files into mp3 format so I can just listen to them.

yeah VLC will play them (or you can also just opt to get a codec pack for oggs so that you can play them on other players) and ou can also use VLC to convert them... alternatively, use RM... Lolz

Winamp was good, but seems to no longer be supported. I still have it and love it, though.

I really don't know why the standard Windows Media Player doesn't support .ogg, since .ogg has become popoular over the past few years.

Pretty much any media player except Windows Media Player will play them.

WMP can also play them too if you have the right codec.
Any time I've ever tried to find the right codec for WMP I've run into dozens of virus laden dodgy sites.

Only good thing about WMP is that it can stream (some) content to an xbox.

No, see, I don't have to because I downloaded the most versatile media player out there. :p
Actually VLC doesn't play -all- file types that's why I actually ditched it. Windows 7 did a great job with video codecs and CCC just helped a lot more :)

Most music player applications nowadays can play Ogg Vorbis audio files natively. Personally, I use foobar2000 for playing any music files, and MPC-HC from CCCP for playing any videos.

I had not touched my Windows Media Player since forever....

MusicBee is a really good player, that also supports OGG as well as FLAC files, just for that extra bit of versatility there.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
