About Licenses

Well, I just found out from @Shaz that a license for MV only allows it to be installed on two computers max. Since I bought mine through Steam and already have it on both my laptops, does that mean when my gaming computer arrives that I'll have to buy it again?! I can't afford doing that- that gaming computer drained me of all I had saved up!

It should allow you to put it on another if you remove it from a previous computer. Besides, if that wasn't true, then Steam would never work for MV.

@bgillisp So, the two-computers-per-license rule only really applies to the RM's bought through the store on here? That is a relief. I can uninstall it from the smaller of my two laptops since its screen is much too small for MV anyway.

No idea about store ones, but it better let you deactivate old licenses. Spore and other old games proved that consumers will not put up with limited installs that you cannot remove and get more installs with.

@bgillisp I'm just going by what @Shaz said on his post here. I still have two months before my gaming computer arrives, so it isn't urgent or anything right now. Just curious from a legal standpoint.

Uninstalling it from the old laptop and installing it on gaming PC seems all right to me.
