About that game that Nintendo banned

It is forbidden to mention the game that Involuntary-Twitch and his mate made as a fan game? Because that is a game made on RPG Maker and it got like 1,500,000 millions of downloads, i think the 9 years of develop make a better reputation about the engine ' s capability, but for the other side, since it was banned by Nintendo this could have a negative impact on the reputation for the forum; something like "if they talk about it they must have allow it"


The reason why i returned to develop stuff for the RPG maker is because those dudes made a great work, shame they couldn't make their own game, but i know how strong is the desire of make a Pokemon game.

Uranium wasn't that different from other completed Pokemon fan games, don't know why Nintendo or Game Freak specifically chose this game over others especially since pokemon fan games have been going on since I dunno '96!   Nintendo never really cared, it was only if it was a Mario or Zelda game that they really dropped the cease and desist letter.

Nintendo is just washed up, this is a perfect example of it. They will eliminate anything they think will even come close to taking a few bucks outta their pockets because in all honesty they need it. I haven't been excited about any nintendo game releases since some games on the gamecube. I think the biggest game they have even had for the wii was the legend of zelda game and that was a REMAKE not even an original game. You have to buy those amibos which they charge 10 extra dollars for on a lot of the releases they have I've noticed you don't even get an option. Loved nintendo in the past, hate em now.

Well I mean just games they release for their consoles and not so much mobile apps like pokemon go that are just licensed by them. Those are obviously at least something for nintendo but yeah as it stands they are 3rd to sony and microsoft and have been for idek how long now.

Uranium received a C&D because it was too good and was becoming too popular. The only reason people are mad about it being taken down is because it was a game from a popular franchise and crapping on Nintendo is the in thing to do. Any company has the right to protect their copyrighted work and if you do make a fan project about an existing IP and it becomes popular enough to rival the commercial product, don't be surprised when you receive a C&D letter. People like Miyamoto and Iwata have gone on to say that they love these fangames, but if they want to keep the rights to their IP their legal department have to take action against anything that threaten it.
