About to lose all my RPGMaker Data

Hello, I apologize for this rushed question but long story short, my laptop that i am currently using has ALL my RPG maker (Ace) data, won't charge, and is barely at 50%. I managed to put pretty much all of my data on a flash drive to save it. The problem I am running into, is if I wanted to use Ace on my Computer and not my laptop (Which as soon as it dies I have to throw it away since it wont charge and i've tried 3 different chargers, troubleshooting and all that stuff) how would I go about it since the activation key I used when I pre-ordered Ace is already "Used"? Would Enterbrain be able to send me a new one if I told them what the problem is? Can they look at my account and see that i have purchased Ace and about half its DLC? Please, any quick response would be appreciated since im at 51% battery and going down about 1% a minute. Thank you!!

No idea, but wouldn't just getting a new battery likely solve the "not charging" problem? Usually(not always though) when a laptop stops charging it is just that the battery wore out and needs replacing.

I bought a new battery AND charger for it and had it overnight shipped from Amazon and neither work. Its something wrong with the charging port or something.

Oh...Ouch. Well, you can always hope the new battery and charger fit the new laptop so you have backups? That is, if you get a new laptop anyway.

I've heard of people PM'ing for a key. Not sure who though, but chances are once your battery dies you can come back here and the answer will be posted by a mod.

I had this craptop for almost 10 years now and got a new gaming PC about 3 years ago so no, i wont be getting a new laptop. Been using ace on my laptop since the day it came out and now I might have to buy it again if I want to use it. :/

Have you tried using the key again? It's usually acceptable to install on a new computer of your own personal use. If the key doesn't work, email support.

Its been years since I downloaded Ace, I no longer have the old key.

Emailing support is probably your best bet.

Did you purchase Ace in the Forum store or in the old main store?

If it was in the forum store, you can find your key in the client area of your login under "purchases".

If it was in the old main store, you need to send a support ticket with the email adress you used to purchase it and ask for a resending of the email with the key.
