Okay so this is gonna sounds a little weird... In my game, I'm looking for a script or features that allows face graphics in battle. No big deal. Yanfly Battle Engine Ace does that~! We all know that's not bad at all. Nice and easy to use interface, and easy to use.

Then, I found out about Mog Hunter Battle Hud Ex and that one, blew, my, mind! I replaced YBEA in a heartbeat because of the HUD and dynamic actor face changes depending on their action(getting attacked, attacking, Low HP, Death) and it was just cool.

But, what my game really demands for is the use of Transformation Skills (One actor transforming/shifting/turning into another actor), and Summoning Skils(Summoning Actors). I took an interest in Vlue's Pets and Summons which does what I need to do. Also, for transformations, Hime's Effect: Shapeshift which would  really help. But, it doesn't change the actor graphic for Mog Hunter's Battle Hud...

So I'm in this search for some kind of way to have the whole, Actor Face Expressions in battle with a Transformation that changes the faceset while the that user is transformed. Then it'll turn back to normal once the effect wears off or until the battle ends. That and the same for summoning too. Has their own faceset etc.

Now to slim it down and make it easier, I used my imagination a bit a figured out that I can use Hime's script for Transforming and Summons. Then, that's leaves the problem with the dynamic face change in battle. In Mog Hunter's, the faceset remains the same. Which is quite silly. I don't want have the face of a human while it's suppose to be a dragon or something taking place.

So, can someone help me on this... complicated quest?(Or is their some magical easy way that I didn't see xD)

EDIT: Sorry if this was posted in the wrong section... Honestly, didn't know where else this topic would be able to go .-.

You'll probably need to script something that tells it when to switch faces.  Generally the Actor contains the link to its own face tile, from what I remember anyway.  I'm assuming this system uses some sort of custom face set, and this face set is then tied to the actor either via script data, or by registering it inside of the database.

You will likely need to set some boolean function, that checks if the player is transformed, then use the gate to display one faceset or another.  Most likely a small fix, but these sort of things can get rather bloated if I know this community.

Yeah, I know xD Mog Hunter uses it's own folder that goes something light graphics/huds instead of faces. Say I could have Actor One, make his faceset, but Mog Hunter doesn't use those. Instead, you'd use the picture facesets in Graphics/Hud which could be anything lol. Probably this is why Hime's Shapeshift doesn't change the faceset because Mog Hunter doesn't even display that... So yeah, you're right. It does probably need scripting. But alas, I am just a guy, who can't script even for the life of me *plays Sad Violin MLG Airhorn Remix"

But, I can use a state, and a few common events to help. I saw this video here which made me think. Like I said, Mog Hunter doesn't use Face graphics. Yet, Yanfly does. So I found a script in which faces change depending on HP, MP and States(I believe it's states btw) . Then there's Jet's version but IT'S IN VX(So they say... But I'm too busy to try it out)!!! NUUUUUU!!!

*prays for a VX Ace of this version* - I heard it was suppose to be good.

So, I plan on later to try out that SEA's, Hime's and Yanfly's together and see how it turns up. Not just the scripts, but with a combination of Common Events, Switches and possibly Variables.

But still, I am still searching for any ways possible that you guys out in the forums can help with. More then one way would be fantastic since my big project regretfully uses a lot of different scripts (which are necessary). I wouldn't mind dropping Mog Hunter's Battle Hud Ex for Yanfly's Battle Engine as long as I can get that method of dynamic face changes working on the Yanfly Battle Engine. And the transforms/summons workin'.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
