Everybody's cuts (creators, Steams, and ours) are based on percentage, so yes they get less per sale during sales (as do we), but the increased volume is waaay more than enough to compensate for it.When the resource packs are sold at a discount, do the artists still make the same amount of money off them or do their profits get cut with the price?
Discounts cut into the profits of the artist, sadly. When the resource packs are sold at a discount, do the artists still make the same amount of money off them or do their profits get cut with the price?
But the huge increase in sales volumes makes up for it and then some..Discounts cut into the profits of the artist, sadly.
Steam has an offline-modus and you can use Ace while in offline-mode. I did that when I was away with my notebook for a while. If I purchase RPG Maker VX Ace through steam, does that mean Ill have to connect to steam when I want to use it? Rather than just have it as a seperate product? Im using the trial right now and was going to buy very soon lol
all resource packs are only pictures to be imported into projects, so of course they can also be imported and used in the regular versions. Can resource packs from Steam be used with a regular version of Ace?
