The full directory is C:\Program Files\Enterbrain\RPGVXAce\Generator, along with the Face and Mini folders inside it. Are you placing them inside the Generator folder, or outside?

Thank you for this, Lunara. Anything to make the generator more robust is great.

yeah, I put them in the right folders but they're not showing up in the program. Does it make a difference that i'm using the version I got on Steam?

@Trianglon It's possible that getting it from Steam makes a difference. However, I'm not familiar with getting software from there, so I can't say for sure. If you can find a directory for VX Ace under C:\Program Files\Steam, then it might be there that you need to place it. I suggest doing a search on your hard drive with one of the default generator file names, such as Acc1_01.

If you do actually find it under the Steam folder, or somewhere else, please let me know, so I can add that info to the tutorial.

    You are welcome. ~

If you bought it from steam, then it's in a different folder. The right folder is

    Progamfiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rpgmakervxace

Hello great work with the RTP clothing bits. I find it frustrating that they do not include them as defaults. Do you know where I can get clothing bits for Actor 4 ? Thanks.

    Edit:

I would also like to know what are the terms for using the generator parts in commercial projects? I just started my project and haven't decided whether or not it will be commercial but I figured it was best to ask about these things beforehand.

I love it, although I've been trying to find a hooded generator part which might go with a cloak or so... unfortunately there seems to be none I don't suppose you could make it?

    @Anon90

I am actually in the process of making some hoods, for both faces and sprites. If you're willing to hold out for a while, I'll gladly try to get something done in the near future.

    Edit(sorry, didn't see this post):

I will get to the Actor 4 clothing eventually. I recently had no time to work on anything, but I now have lots freed up, so I'll start on those soon, as well as some other RTP pieces.

I allow my generator parts to be used in commercial projects, as long as I am given proper credit. I also wouldn't mind a copy of your game, if you ever complete it.

Awesome stuff, but I require some support regarding the female hairs. The female hairs past 20 or so don't show up. I had a look at the files, and it's probably because the hairs are on the second row of the .png rather than the first. Is this the case?

This is really good, Lunara ! And yes - I plan to make use of VXA's face and sprite maker in my project. Question - can you increase the default number for the selections in VXA's character generator so other members can add new definitions and pieces to build without losing the old choices ?

Hello! Thank you for these! Will definitely use them. :D

I was wondering if you have any tutorials on how you make these add ons? It'd really be useful for an aspiring artist like me.

Thank you! And hope to see your next post! :)

Lunarea, do you think you could make a non-smiling mouth piece for the females like the males? Nearly all the the female mouth pieces are smiling with the exception of a shouting piece.

Perfect! Finally can do a little more customization, like character sprite changes depending on what they wear.

thank you very much lunara! I love how your style matches the default character generator perfectly! it makes it so much easier for me to make my game.

It's hard to find anything that matches so well, especially since almost every sprite artist and face artist wants to make everything for their own art style and

not something for the rest of us people with no art talent! LOL!
