I am very new with the engine, so please go easy on me.

As I was browsing for RPG Maker VXA Tilesets in the internet, I notice that some people don't state if that specific tileset is for A1, A2, A3 and so on. So how would you found out which tileset is for which category if the creator didn't specify the category?

I'm very sorry, if this may seem quite n00bish.

Feel free to ask for clarifications.

Check the help file, each format has a very specific sequence of autotiles or not.

Once you have seen the layout for each of the five A#-Formats, you should easily be able to identify them. And the tilesheets without autotiles are the sixth format for the B to E slots.

Ummm... What are autotiles? And by help file, do you mean the one that appears when you press F1?

Again, sorry for my noobishness.

I think the help file (F1) actually has descriptions.

It may depend on whether you're looking at an exterior or interior tileset, or a cave, etc.

A1 is for animated tiles - water, lava, etc.

A2 is for ground tiles, floor tiles.

I'm just not sure about A3 and A4. I know, combined, they are wall/cliff/tree(trunk) and roof/tree(leaves) but I just can't think what's on each of them and in what order. I THINK A4 is for houses - roof and wall.

You could also just look at what the slots are used for in the standard tilesets.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
