My timer displays perfectly with the engine. The Yanfly Core Engine makes no reference to the class Game_Timer, which I believe controls and creates the timer, so, I'm not sure how it would be the cause. Neither for Sprite_Timer. It could be that you accidentally edited something in the Core Engine and are unaware. You can try re-installing the YEA Core Engine from Yanfly's channel to your project.

Press CTRL+SHIFT+F in your script editor and do a search for Game_Timer or simply "timer" to see if any other scripts are making problems.

That is plain odd. I can start a new project, add Yanfly's script and nothing else, and reproduce the results 100% of the time. I put it, the timer doesn't show. I take it out, the timer shows.

Here, i have added a small screen movie that shows exactly what I'm talking about.

where do you copy the script from? Perhaps it has already been modified, redownload the latest version to check in a new project.

As Indicated in the OP I downloaded it directly from his site at the link above. If there is a newer vision I was unable to locate it on his site.

I found the solution so I'll post it and this thread can be closed.

The solution is to change the width of the map. The Yanfly engine defaults to a screen width of 640X416 which means that the minimum map size must be 20x15. However, the VX ACE editor under map properties will still allow maps to be set at the size of 17x13. So if the map is set to the old defaults the timer is displaying on the portion of the map that is not visible under the new defaults. Solution: make a bigger map and the timer displays perfectly.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
