Ok, so it all went back. Strange, it was gone when I checked after bgillisp said it.
Did they bring it back after reading this thread though? maybe?

Maybe it is a legit display glitch? I do know Steam itself filters reviews to a degree and maybe the filter did it? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here this time myself.

Yesterday it displayed one negative review for me only while claiming to have two reviews in my languages, but didn't show the second.
Could be both - either a glitch in the review filters or someone from Kadokawa checking reviews.
Doubt the second however because it is early access and those are expected to report bugs.

Most of the text in the sample games now include English versions, I have only experienced crashes two times.
There are arguments on both sides, so let's say there are mixed reviews.

There was an update, so crashes seemed to have been fixed!
Wonder when we'll get the RPG Conversation plugin?

Can you import your own custom art. I'm a bit confused with the comments from earlier.

    Nice.

So far how does it compare to IG Maker?

IG maker was trash to begin with, you had absolutely no way of coding... PGMV at least allows you to use javascript with the nodes but there really isn't a known guide for pluigins or use with javascript yet especially around objects.

Really sad to hear this engine isn't off to a great start. Seems like it's pretty confusing to use...

It was pretty easy for me to understand. I guess it depends on the person?

Yeah maybe... I saw someone in the comments show some gameplay they made with it and didn't have any trouble so that was reassuring.

I'm on the fence about whether this is a product I would want someday. I'm sure the early access stuff is going to get fixed but even then it seems there are a lot of frustrations people have been having with it. I haven't looked too far into it since it still is early so just in the context of the video shared recently by @FleshToDust I can see why some people might have those frustrations. That flow chart at a glance looks like it could be confusing for some users; it certainly looks off-putting to look at in that context.

I want to like this certainly but I think I'm going to have to wait and see a bit more if this is something I can be interested in and how its going to be supported as time goes on.

I feel like there's a point where a maker just isn't going to be as viable as a more extendable setup, like Unity, Unreal, Anura, etc. If PGM is not going to be easily extendable (i.e. the editor itself cannot be extended with plugins), it's going to be limited in some way or another.

IMO, RMMV can get away with being rigid because it's specializes in turn based, top-down RPGs. It's got some pretty decent datebasing/mapping/eventing tools, all of which are geared specifically toward RPGs. While all of these tools can be loosely extended via plugins, you have to ask yourself how much is too much.

Sure, you could do all sorts of crazy things, like turn RMMV into a twin-stick shooter. But at some point, you're hardly even using RMMV's toolkit, and you might as well use a more generalized engine. Sure, you'll probably have to write some code, and you can't use any of the assets that are packaged with RMMV. But this is a small price to pay for virtually limitless flexibility.

If PGM can be extended, then that's a different story. I could see it working pretty well if it specialized in some genre (it looks like it will, thanks to its physics system), but allowed you to extend it in case the default tools aren't right for the project. From experience, having good tools is almost more important than having good ideas or good developers, because you can't really get much done without tools.

After all, you wouldn't build a house using a soldering iron!

When I watch that video, it looks like it needs a separate section for doing finite states. It looks crazy the way it currently stands! (However, it also looks pretty flexible when it comes to logic. So, I'm pretty sure some complex stuff could be made)
