Activation Issues Solved!

I unistalled, deleted, redownloaded, reinstalled and tried to re-activate Ace several times recently, and three times today. It still does not work. 

I'm downloading directly from the Ace website. I'm totally lost on what to do to fix this.

So I tried all the things you said about 5 times and I keep recieving messages from my computer that say "Unable to connect to the remote server," or "the request was aborted: the request was canceled," "the remote server returned an error: (417) Expectation failed," I am going to scream if I can't fix this problem. I have no firewall active nor has any firewall been active on my computer. I even switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox (which are both available on my computer) and I still recieve error messages! If anyone can help me I would love you till the end of time!  Think of the children...

Still working, I've been trying to do this for 3 days now. I havn't had much free time. my proxy server was 

190.0.16.58 8080

 Colombia

I am using windows 8 running it in compatability modes (Windows 7). Firewall was on. Don't give up hope until you've tried all the proxy servers!

I'm glad to see so many folks still use my method to get into RPG maker, but I must ask... such the update there is no need to use this method (if I understand correctly) what is preventing you all from offline activation?

can't activate anything even offline. very frustrating. why did tyou change what wasn't broken ffs.
