What I want to do is have different switches on depending on who the player sets as leader for the party

For example if actor 1 is in front, I want switch 1 to be on, it actor 2 is in front, switch 2, and so on.

What I want to be able to accomplish is have different outcomes or dialogues if a certain actor is up front.

Ex:
Actor 1 up front:
1: Oh wow! This is so cool!
2: I wish it was quieter...

Actor 2 up front:
2: It's so loud...
1: Really? I think your ears are too sensitive!

And so on.

Is anything like that possible, or no?

The 'Control Variable' event command allows you to set a variable to the actor number of the first party member (or for any other party member). Choose 'Set', and under the drop-down menu 'Game Data' click on 'party' and choose 'Member #1'.

You *COULD* set switches according to the value of the variable, but you will find it quicker and easier to use the variable in your conditional branches.

There's a plugin for that!

Where you customize the switches, enter the following commands to turn on switch 1 when actor 1 is the leader, switch 2 when actor 2 is the leader, switch 3 when actor 3 is the leader, etc. Do one for each actor.

Code:
switchLinks[1] = '$gameParty.members()[0].actorId() == 1';
switchLinks[2] = '$gameParty.members()[0].actorId() == 2';
switchLinks[3] = '$gameParty.members()[0].actorId() == 3';
... and so on ...

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
