    Hi there,

I have a couple of instances in one map where if the main actor is standing on an event, the actor flashes constantly.

The event he is standing on is set to below the actor, and the odd thing is that there are multiple of the same kind of event on the map. But it only happens on a few of them, yet their event pages are the same.

Below is a screenshot of the event in question ...

And this is how it behaves in-game, however the speed of the flickering is much faster

several possible causes spring to mind, but every idea is based on something you gave no info on.

    1) it looks like you used tile graphics instead of sprite graphics for that event. If you do this, the event will behave like that sprite - including for example the star passability resulting in displays above the player. please check the properties of the tile used in the tileset if that is the case

    2) it can be a timing problem on the event that activates and deactivates the switches to enable or disable those events - can you give us screenshots of that as well?

The four pages here represent the four directions of the tiles, displaying which ones are off and on ..

And yes, these are using the tilesets but all are set to 0, so are able to be walked on.
