By default, the first four actors are the battleparty - everything above four is the reserve and doesn't fight unlesa placed in one of the first four slots by formation screen.

To change that, you'll need a plugin - for Ace there was a party manager script with that option, but I don't know if something like that has been written for MV yet.

I've moved this thread to Plugin Request. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

I don't know how you could keep him from showing up in battle, but if you remove the skill "attack" he won't have the option after that...but neither will any of your others.....

HIME has a script to have a guest party member, so on screen you see the leader (wont show in battle) and the followers that will.

BUT that leady guest party member wouldnt show up in the menu screen.

To do this with events and not script have every troop monster have an event to remove the party member that you dont want in battle, and at the end of battle make the troop events add him back.

Any other help you're going to need to add some more information.

I made a tutorial battle in my game in that one actor doesn't do nothing. I made that by inflicting him with a status with the "cannot move" restriction. If you leave the icon blank the player won't even know you have that status. You can also add a "Sp-Parameter Target Rate = 0%" trait to the status so that the player won't even be target of the enemies, if that's what you want. Although that won't keep him from getting hit by skills that target "all enemies", maybe you can work that around by raising his evasion and magic evasion.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
