Description of the Feature:

A very minor change.

Every time the editor has "OK" and "Cancel" buttons, there should also be an "Apply" button placed to the right of them. So, every time, it reads OK, Cancel, Apply, instead of only sometimes.

Mockups:

Why is this feature good?

Muscle Memory.

To explain...
I work in the editor a lot. So much, that I often times just click the rightmost button, often but not always the Apply button, to do a little save when working on big events. Maps and MV Tools, however, only have OK and Cancel. The rightmost button is now Cancel, instead of Apply. You quickly eyeball down, see the rightmost button, click it like you always do, and the menu erases all of your work, due to bad UI design.

By having the 3 buttons always paired together, no matter what, it'll remove this issue. This fairly minor but still very annoying issue.

This is a very minor fix, but it'll remove those occasions where you've just spent 10 minutes placing map notetags, customizing map troop rates, changing map audio, only to accidentally have the menu close when you meant to Apply.

Possible issues with this feature?

I can't think of any.

Hmm, I'm game for an apply button, but the your reasons would easily be solved by just having the OK and CANCEL button switch places.

I think it's a good idea. No idea why the UI is inconsistent like that throughout the engine myself.
For the same reason the UI in other programs includes the 'Apply' button "inconsistently". It is present in dialogues you are expected to stay in and apply many diverse changes incrementally but in a fairly continuous time frame and it missing in dialogues you are expected to make all required changes all at once or where incremental changes are made in a non-continuous time frame.
The map properties dialogue is an example of the latter.

I'd love to see it honestly. Plenty of complicated events and map changes could use an apply function as to not close the window, yet save progress. It'd just be more convenient.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
