Add customizable tool-tips to the Regions on map tab R and maps:
  • Tool-tips for the region on map tab R
  • Same tool tip shows when mousing over a placed region on a map.
  • Customizable as to what text is displayed.
  • Can be turned on or off.
  • Doubleclick or Rightclick on region on map tab R to add, remove, or edit a tooltip.

Code for Implementation:

Mockups:

Why is this feature good?
This feature is great because of the following:
  • This would allow designers to make a brief note as to what each region is used for.
  • When mousing over the map tab R, or when mousing over a placed region on the map, the tool-tip will remind the designer what that region was assigned to be used as.
  • Great for teams of designers who may use chunks of regions for their own ideas.
  • Prevent duplication of regional uses.
  • No more searching the code for what a given region was assigned for.

Possible issues with this feature?
Issues that might arise from this feature:
  • Tool-tip may obscure something graphically.
  • Existential Crisis
