Hi,

I'm new at this. I can add a character into my party in-game, but I can't

figure out how to remove the sprite that's there. I  end up with two of the

characters; one following me and the original sprite.

Please help. I feel like it's to do with event commands etc but I struggle

understanding them.

The actor sprites are set in the database - if you want an actor to have a different sprite, then it needs to be changed there.

If you want to remove an event with the picture of a sprite, then you need to switch to another event page that has no sprite

Do you just not want all your followers to show up on the map - just the leader? In that case go to the System tab in the database and change the Show Followers option.

No, I like them following but the character, Sophie, is originally an NPC in a town who I want to join my party.

However, when she joins, her original character/sprite stays where it is but i also get her party sprite following.

How do I make an event/switch that removes the npc sprite?

That is explained in the tutorials - and it is part of the basic functions you need to know in order to use the engine.
Please follow the link in my signature, and work through the tutorials there.

After you learn about switches, also look at self switches. If there are no other events that care about what's just happened, use a self switch instead of a switch.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
