Could someone please help me with making a custom pointer, similar to the game Omori's title screen and menus.

I have managed to space the buttons out and have been able to find where the overlay for the buttons is created which is under

Window_Selectable.prototype._refreshCursor = function() { const drect = this._cursorRect.clone(); const srect = { x: 96, y: 96, width: 48, height: 48 }; const m = 4; for (const child of this._cursorSprite.children) { child.bitmap = this._windowskin; } this._setRectPartsGeometry(this._cursorSprite, srect, drect, m); };

I don't think I fully understand it especially the setRectPartsGeometry which looks very confusing in the file, if its not too much could you explain how it works and how I could implement it.

I don't know if this would make any difference, but the cursor is disabled.

Well, rats. Was really looking forward to trying out FPS Creator, but trying to install and set it up was pretty much impossible for my tiny brain to comprehend. So much for that, then.
Ah, home once more! I think I can safely work on my games now.
