I am trying to get the Terrax Lighting to work in a map and the notes read as follows:

To activate the script in an area, do the following:
1. Put an event switch into the map.
2. In the 'Note' field (Next to the name) put the following text :
Light 250 #FFFFFF
- Light activates the script
- 250 is the lightradius of the object
- #FFFFFF is the lightcolor (white in this case)
3. You're done, its that simple.

So.. I am new to this, how do I add an "event switch" to a map?

I've moved this thread to Plugin Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Please give a link to the plugin you're trying to use - we can't help you without knowing what that plugin does.

I was most likely posting in the correct thread, since my question is not plugin specific. I just need to know how to add an event switch to a map. Here is the link below:

Edit: Nevermind, I got it. Figured out how to check the demo, heh.

What do you mean by event switch? Do you mean switches?

The author should have said, "add an event to the map that includes the switch command or (plugin command)" but he only said "add an event switch to the map" so I got confused. I am not familiar enough with MV or eventing to read between the lines yet. Precision of language goes a long way when writing readme's and technical guides.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
